Title: CMBB Operation 'The Red Highway to Berlin'
Post by: Koen on 30 March 2011, 20:26:03
I never managed to build a decent operation so I thought (after seeing Henk's ops) it's NOW or never

first thing I noticed is the difference in mapsize, with an ops you can build a 6km wide x 4km high map... that's HUGE!
compared with a battlemap of 2960 x 3040 in a 'battle'

what I want is the biggest map with the map showing itself from start till end

following Henk's info I selected no mans land: 0m and a static operation.

It will be a Russian attack from the Guards against Heer, Volkssturm and Waffen-SS

The Heer will be the major present force, the Volkssturm will be present in towns and the Waffen-SS will be the reinforcement force.

The ops will be a 3 battle plan with 60 turns each.

Battle 1 will be the Russian attack (Guards)
Battle 2 will be the engagement phase (Guards-Heer)
Battle 3 will be the German counter-attack (Waffen-SS)

No nightfights
medical supplies: AXIS: medium / ALLIED: Best
vehicles: AXIS: average / ALLIED: good
location will be south to minimize pine tress

I will keep you updated with details, units info, screenshots and more
