In the Ardennes section you will see lots of pictures taken by myself.

Photography is a hobby of mine and when you mix that with the Ardennes being 1 to 1 1/2 hours away leads to a growing collection of WWII pictures.

I should start taking more pics and get some experience in my hands, got a nice set now

downloaded a conversion program for DNG (Digital negative file) files to Jpg.

Now I can finally start to work on my weddingpictures (after 2 years  :-\ )

Target Fixation is a problem indeed for old time photographers (with todays hold-t-arms-length digi cms it is less n issue as you remain wre of your surroundings).

I remember having taken a video (in the ´80s, huge shoulder mounted camer gear of 5 kg) for n ad of an airport once, where they did some very photogenic combinations of tow/sail plane combinations (triple glider tow).

When following the glider in the air I did not realize the tow plane was coming in in the low pass to drop the cable before landing, it (the dropped cable) passed me as close as the train this very lucky gentleman. First thing I ever realized about the incident was when I took the equipment of my eye and realized everybody around me was lying flat on his belly...

A situation similar like this one, just that I had not followed the tow plane:

LL then ws to always name and point out a dedicated assistant to watch your back when filming/photographing. This LL later a few times probably saved my life on the job.
