Not to be a whiner but….
One of my concerns, besides the over all length of the tournament, is just the time it takes for me to plan and plot moves for battalions of infantry and their support and then plan and move in two other scenarios on top of that may require more time than I have available in a day, especially during a work week.
(It is hard for me to judge the time it will take in that I never played such a huge scenario before.)
I still have not heard from my opponent and have not seen the FG scenario yet.
May I suggest just sending out the scenario so we can look at it and not necessarily do a setup.
MR you bring up a good point about troop count on the map at any one point.
So, this being said, if there are to be “huge” scenarios then I would prefer a two scenario format and pushing out the deadline.
I sent out an email for all the Group B guys to do their setups and send them to you guys so you can see the map.
If that doesn't happen before tomorrow I'll do a setup myself on one side and send it to you so you can see what the map looks like.
Also, we are here to discuss the lengthening of the round. IF a situation develops where a large percentage of matches don't get done with an extra month we'll see what needs to be done then. That's an extra 33% for time. That will help a lot for those that are having time crunch issues. If that proves to be not enough with this particular set of scenarios we can cut it back.

AL Throne of Glory(CMBB) (4000 points) - 20+
I Woke Up Dead (CMBB) (3500 points) - 28
Thunder at Banya Pass (CMBB) (5000 points) - 35
Round 2 scenario lengths are:
BF-Forgotten Ground (CMAK) (17000 points) - 34+
Henk-21Pz D-day (CMAK) (11000 points) - 40
Dams in the Flood (CMAK) (7000 points) - 33+
Remaining scenarios
SB Chasseurs at Abo 1940 (CMBB) (7000 points) - 40
Koen Normandy (CMAK) (18,000 points) - 30
HSG 3AD Saddle Up (CMAK) (14000 points) - 34+
There are two other designers that may turn in scenarios before we end the tournament as well.
Considering that we managed to get the shortest and the smallest scenarios in round 1, and considering as much the length of these I think we should possibly extend this round and cut back to two scenarios per round. That still only gives us 4 rounds like originally intended and it gets some of the larger scenarios paired up with a smaller one.

Round 2

Round 3
SB Chasseurs at Abo 1940 (CMBB) (7000 points) - 40

HSG 3AD Saddle Up (CMAK) (14000 points) - 34+
Round 5
Any other scenarios that get added to the tournament by a possible two other designers.
We'll keep the original 3 month time period for the round with the idea that if things get tight we can extend it.
