I bought this 6 series docu and I got stuck to the screen.
They show alot of details I've never seen before and I've seen many docus on WWII!
Since it's a French production they know that Belgium is a country (
) and that it was also involved in the war.
The series shows footage from the infantryman in his trench all the way to battlefields. It uses material from all sources such as propaganda units, resistance filmers and the 'man on the street'.
The only negative thing I can come up with is that 6 episodes are not enough to give the viewer (especially the one with limited knowledge on WWII) a complete 'view' on WWII.
