Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. Gents,

the pack consists so far of 4 scenarios:
keeping it simple:

12SS mini: H2H: medium map: 1 Bn 12SS in full force with Pz IV, Grille, HT's and pz grenadiers go in counterattack against the Canadians

12SS recon: H2H: small map: recon forces of 12SS and American GI's encounter eachother in the early morning's fog

12SS maxi: H2H: huge map: the Canadians advancing towards Carpiquet Airfield suddenly get caught in the middle of the SS youngest warriors

12SS panther: H2H: small map where a Bn with Pz V's attack a reinforced village taken by the Canadians a couple of days before

Interested in joining the creation by playtesting?

let me know here...

12SS mini has been playtested by myself and Henk. version2 has started between Henk & Balkan Warrior
12SS recon: map finished, units to be chosen: see the recon-topic
12SS maxi: map almost finished, troops on map
12SS panther: in development

comments on the scenarios in detail are to be written in their specific topics
overall comments on the pack HERE

I can recommend the maxi map.
Its going to be a reconstruction of the first battle.
We have dug up a lot of info about the OOBs from both sides.
They seem to be very accurate.
The map is big and a very good representation of the area where the troops fought.
We have also found good info about the starting positions of the units involved.

Whats even more important is that allthought this battle is historical, the OOBs from both sides  looks pretty balanced in CM terms.

If you know someone to play it( who has no problem with regimental sized battles) than you can test the battle Smiley
